OVERVIEW

The idea for this project was to reinstate Etsy’s mission to keep commerce human and merge it with Toronto’s VIBE Arts developed community. This collaborations intention is to create a physical showcase and online event to inspire people to pursue art and support rising artists locally.

The goal was to blend the identities of both companies into a design that feels handmade and community-driven. By using Etsy’s recognizable color palette and a series of vibrant, hand-cut shapes inspired by VIBE Arts’ mission, the final look is warm, inviting, and encourages

curiosity.

PROBLEM

The challenge for this project was that we were limited to two pieces of static media to showcase the campaign. This required a unique strategy to cater to the local Toronto art community as well as the Etsy commerce platform.

SOLUTION

I chose a transit shelter ad because the project would be Toronto based, so it made more sense to have media consumed by foot-traffic as opposed to something like  a social media post. The landing page is a source of publicity for all user to see, given its much larger of a platform and people from across the world can view this local art appreciation event.
